Izabella Scorupco was born on June 4th 1970 and lived with her mother Magdalena in Poland before moving to Sweden at age 8. As a teenager Izabella modeled and acted. She appeared in her first movie, Ingen kan älska som vi (No One Can Love Like Us) at age 17.
Izabella started showing of her singing talents after that and when she was 19, she had her first hit single "Substitute". The single and the album (Iza) both went Gold. In 1991 she released a second single, "Shame, Shame, Shame".
When Iza was 25 years old, she got cast as the part of Natalya in the James Bond movie, Goldeneye which made her very reconizable in North America. The film also starred Peirce Bronson as James Bond. It was Peirce's first shot playing the famous British spy.
In December 1996 Izabella wed hockey player Mariusz Czerkawski and in September 1997 gave birth to their first child, Julia.
In 1999 Izabella became the spokesperson for the Swedish cosmetics line "Oriflame", and in 2000 she starred in the hit film Vertical Limit along side Chris O'Donnell and Robin Tunney. The film is currently out in theaters and it is a must see. This movie will make Iza a superstar over here for sure.
Izabella has so far appeared in 6 foreign films and she can speak 4 languages fluently.
